without comments

California’s new law requiring users to use handless devices for cell phones while driving has boosted bluetooth sales to 4 times the national average. The boost began in the months leading up to the enactment of the new law.

In states where there’s no law on hands free devices bluetooth sales fall below the national average.

Optimus Pultius

without comments

The new Optimus Pultius keyboard features only 15 keys that have OLED display that can be set to display any image you choose. The keys can be set to whatever shortcut you want.

However we’re guessing that there won’t be too many people running to their computer stores to pick one up. With a pricetag of $1,877 you’d rather buy a new macbook complete with keyboard than to splurge on this new gizmo. Despite how sleek and flashy it may be.

CherryPal $249 Desktop Computer

without comments

That’s right. There’s a desktop computer you can buy for $249. It’s only the size of a book and weighs about 10 ounces. It doesn’t have much in it, but it has the basics that everyone needs.

It uses a very small amount of power compared to other desktop computers and runs on a Linux based operating system.

It’s not very flashy, but it gets the job done for someone looking to not spend too much on a computer.

iPhone Battery Life

without comments

There have been reports that the new iPhone 3G battery life is not as great as it once was. For those of you who want to get the most out of your iPhone can do something about it however. For $40 you can get Kensington’s battery life extender which essentially doubles the iPhones battery life.

It’s pretty unobtrusive and simply clips on to the bottom of your iPhone. I highly suggest getting it if you’re going to be using your iPhone faily heavily and want it to make it through your most rigorous days.

T-Mobile Sidekick Opens July 30th

without comments

Word on the street is that T-Mobile’s new sidekick is going to be availble to consumers on July 30th. The phone is to be inexpensive and feature a 2-megapixel camera, video recorder, and stereo Bluetooth.

The new phone is going to be called the sidekick 2008. Not a very creative name in my opinion.
