LG Mini Notebook?
LG is rumored to be getting into the mini notebook business. The leading mini-notebook on the market is currently HP’s 2133.
The 2133 features a 9 inch screen, 2GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive or 64GB SSD. The price ranges from $500-$1000 for HPs mini-notebook. The rumor is that LG’s notebook will be in a similar price range and offer similar features.
Mini-notebooks have limited appeal because they generally can’t be used as primary computers as other higher powered notebooks can be.
T-Mobile Law Suit
A Seattle Judge recently ruled that a class action lawsuit against T-Mobile will be allowed to move forward. The lawsuit was made against T-Mobile because T-Mobile does little to nothing to protect its users from paying for spam text messages users receive on their cell phones.
Subscribers can either pony up for each spam text, or pay the $175 early deactivation fee if they want to drop T-Mobile. Other carriers allow users to block text messages but T-Mobile offers no such service. I guess they should have offered this to their customers, oops.
